crux123 - the three elements of fearlessness

The goal of crux123 is the creation of a fearless mindset. Every day we are beset by fear. What we perceive as stress, anxiety, and worry are really manifestations of fear. When we slip into procrastination, when we distract ourselves with meaningless pursuits, when we feel a lack of motivation or experience depression - these are our reactions to fear. It is only through constantly challenging ourselves and realizing our potential as human beings that we can overcome our fears, find our true selves and be happy.

There are three key areas to find challenges:

Crux 1: Physical

The benefits of exercise are obvious, both from physical and mental health perspective. You may already have an exercise program. But when was the last time you really challenged yourself physically? When was the last time you had to overcome physical fear?

Crux 2: Cognitive/Creative

How often is your brain really being challenged? How often do you learn new things? When was the last time you really had to stretch your mental abilities to solve a problem or create something new?

Crux 3: Expressive

How often do you laugh? When was the last time you allowed yourself to have a good cry?  Are you a good communicator? Can you really express yourself openly and honestly, without fear, reservation or embarrassment?

By challenging ourselves every day in crux 1, 2 and 3, we can overcome our fears increase our confidence and motivation, find our true strengths and passions and move towards a fearless future.
